Context
From 22 December 2020 to 10 January 2021, Wish.Brussels, an initiative of Divers-City, installed giant screens in several places in Brussels to broadcast messages from citizens showing their gratitude to health professionals and everyday heroes working on the Covid-19 crisis front line.
Wish.Brussels wanted attention on their initiative and inform the population to invite them to post messages via social media. To receive more media presence, we extended the topics of the messages to Christmas and New Year greetings.
Implementation & Results
We created a press release to announce the initiative to all media, with a focus on local press and televisions, not to forget media targeting employees from international institutions and organizations. In parallel, we contacted influent reporters and proposed them to meet the founder of the project for an interview. The project received very positive attention resulting in an impressive media coverage – in Brussels but also at national level – with no less than 18 articles and 3 tv coverages (RTL-TVi, RTBF and BX1).
